Garnier New BB Cream for Combination/Oily Skin

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream

So Garnier recently came out with this new BB cream specifically for combination/oily skin. The claims on this BB cream product are listed on the box so I will list them here for you to check out as well as my rating of 1-5 . Retails for $11.97 at Walmart.com and price varies in drug stores. Brings  2.0 FL OZ in a tube.
-Controls oil and shine ( 2)
-Naturally covers imperfections (4)
-Minimizes pores (3)
-Provides Oil free hydration (2)
-Protects with Broad Spectrum SPF 20 sunscreen against harmful effects of the sun when used with other sun protection measures (5)

Let's start with Controls oil and shine. I gave this a 2 out of 5 (5 being the highest, 1 being the lowest). When you first apply the BB cream yes you have a nice matte finish and you will not need to apply powder which is great. The problem is that lasted very shorty, I would say after the first hour of me wearing the BB cream oil was starting to come threw. After hour 2 my face felt as if it was melting, I touched my face and it felt as if the product was slippery. You know that sticky slip and slide feeling we get with very oily foundations. Which was odd to me because this is supposed to be for oily skin. For a day at the beach this isn't bad at all  because you will continue to reapply once out the water for the SPF protection. I wanted to use this for the beach days as well as everyday for the summer because it was very lightweight and when first applied it doesn't feel like you have anything on your face. Which you know would be great for the hot humid summer. The problem is it says on the packaging All-Day control in Bright blue bold letters but on the side in small white lettering it says "reapply at least every 2-hours". I don't want to have to do that especially when I am out and about. How fun would that be to stop while shopping or eating dinner to have to wash my face and reapply OR blot my face of oil and Add another layer every two hours until I look like someones wedding cake. Not fun.
Next on my list is Naturally covers imperfections. I gave that a 4. It covered my redness and a small scar on my nose I have. My freckles were still visible which I like. Nothing to talk about to much coverage was great for a BB cream.
For Minimizes Pores I gave a 3. I didn't see any pores on my face but on my nose it was a little more visible so I would need an extra coating on my nose. As Far as huge pimples or bumps I think it made them more noticeable.
Provides Oil Free Hydration this for me was very close to being a 1. My skin looked so dry around my nose, mouth area, and my the center of my eyebrows within the first hour. At first I thought it was me so I exfoliated my skin, moisturized well, and primed my skin before applying. That didn't work for me the product looked gross until my oils toke over within the first hour.
Now we all know that the SPF 20 sunscreen is good so I don't need to go into details there. Overall  I feel this BB cream needs a little more work but it is good for those who during the summer days will want to apply fast and head out the door. My favorite part is the coverage and how lightweight it feels. Also sad they don't have more color choices. I plan to use the rest of my tube for the summer hopefully Garnier will continue to perfect this BB cream for us Oily beauties.
I hope this was helpful to you!. Here is a photo of me wearing it. No powder a little blush and bronzer.  This picture was taken using a flash camera but becareful with that because it doesn't always look like that. Stay Beautiful xoxo Panda ;)

NEW GARNIER FRUCTIS HYDRA RECHARGE

I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in the BzzAgent campaign for this new line of products. I will be sharing my quick thought on it in this short review. Here is what BzzAgent had for it under their description of course provided by Garnier :

Infused with super fruits  the Hydra Recharge formula actively replenishes hair for silky-soft hydration that lasts. Hydra Recharge will recharge your thirsty locks and keep your hair super silky and surprisingly weightless for up to two whole days.
-Hydra Recharge Shampoo is a hydration innovation; the first to feature thousands of beads that burst on impact
-Hydra Recharge range contains superfruits goji berry, passion fruit and kiwi to actively replenish without heaviness
-Hydra Recharge 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment is a powerful deep treatment whose revolutionary lightweight crème-gel formula transforms dry hair with a surge of high-performance hydration in just one minute.

I thought this product was perfectly fine, did exactly what its supposed to nothing more, nothing less.
The smell was really nice and it was soft not to strong. I will say that after a day the smell was starting to disappear from my hair. Before this shampoo I was using the head and shoulders Influenster sent out and that smell stayed for days. So I was disappointed on how fast it disappeared. The beads in the shampoo did melt down and I thought that was pretty awesome because I thought I would still have a few stuck on my scalp. The shampoo also gives off a nice lather, it is very thick which I like, left my hair feeling nice and clean, and rinsing it off is good as well.  The conditioner is a little bit more watery  I like my conditioners nice and thick. It did a swell job on making my hair feel hydrated so that was great. Also, washing it out was easy didn't feel like I still had conditioner on my hair. Now the Leave in conditioner to me is kind of pointless. I feel it is the same as the the conditioner in this set. I use it once a week and I wash my hair at least 2 to 3 times a week with this line. When I used the Leave in treatment it didn't make a visual difference nor did I feel different when I used it followed the directions and everything. So I guess to be honest its just an extra conditioner to me at the moment., nothing special or a must have. So What I don't like about the line is obviously how fast the smell disappears and how frequently I find myself washing my hair. I do not like to wash my hair more then 2 times a week because it strips all the natural oils off and then damages my hair. After the two days my hair feels really heavy like I have products in it which is odd because I never put anything in it. After I wash I let my hair air dry and that's it, the only time I apply product is when I flat iron it (which is rare). My hair was also lifeless and flat after the two days which I don't like which is what would make me wash my hair again. Other then that I am satisfied with this product but don't think I would be buying this same line again I prefer the one with avocados to this one. I will say that the  first day after washing my hair and letting it air dry it did feel weightless, silky, smooth, and not at all dry but that was short lived and that is something I would what to last longer then 2 days. I am not too impressed  but I will continue to use it until it runs out. It does what it says but like I stated its short lived.
Of course it may work for you so if you like it that's awesome let me know down below in the comments how you feel about this line. So this concludes my short review I hope it was helpful and if you have any questions feel free to contact me !!!

NEW Garnier Olia Oil Powered Permanent Color

You can Find Garnia Olia at some of these retailers CVS, Rite aid, K-mart, Target, Walmart, Walgreens and some grocery stores. I brought mine at Rite Aid for $10.49 with a coupon up to $9.99 I only paid out of pocket $1.50.

So I am going to start off by listing the claims of this product and then tell you what I think about each claim if it worked for me or it didn't.
-100% Gray coverage
-Maximum color coverage
-Visibly improves and restores hair
-Softer, Shinier hair with bounce
-Pleasant floral scent
-Reverse dullness and roughness

Those are most of the claims that I picked up. Okay now for my thoughts and opinions :) I am actually VERY happy with this product. As far as gray coverage I have no gray hairs so I cannot tell you that it covered that.I did have a few strands in my hair where it was almost blonde and some spots that were of a reddish color that was covered very well. So now my hair is one solid color so I guess the claim Maximum color coverage is correct I am happy with that. Visibly improves and restores hair, I actually agree with this my hair feels sightly better then before . I've even gotten some of my curls back which is completely odd lol..My hair is already shiny but this didn't make it extremely shiny my hair stayed the same shine which was a little disappointing I was expecting that it would be super shiny. For Softer hair with bounce Is the claim that completely sold me and was excited to see it was  true. While I was shampooing my hair I was like holy moly it was BABY soft almost like new born baby hair. It was incredible. I let my hair air dry, the bounce I had made me feel so wonderful. My hair was smooth so reverse roughness was correct and my hair looked alive, so reverse dullness was correct also. Now the smell is  amazing when I was done mixing the colorant and developer I was very curious so I toke a whiff an wow smells real good. That smell lingered after I washed and used the conditioner provided . The conditioner was great  but it did have a weird copper smell which reminded me of when I had a nose bleed one hot summer day which was odd but once my hair dried up it was gone. The formula was something new to me, I never had something like this before. It wasn't watery nor thick almost of a gel formula, sorta like the baby oil gel lotions but it wasn't a clear liquid. Once you put it in your hair you can definitely see how it is oil powered because once mixed I opened the bottle and it didn't look like oil until I put it in my hair. Washing it out was very easy to my surprise I thought I would have trouble removing all the oil but I did not. Also, usually with other dyes a lot of the color would wash out with Olia it did not.The dye did not stain my skin or even get on my clothes. I don't know if it will fade fast within a couple of washes but I heard someone complain about that I will make an update on this if it does but I don't expect to last forever either.  I usually like to color my hair with at home hair dyes every 3 to 6 months.

I choose a Dark brown and one bottle completely covered my whole entire head . My hair is long so I was happy to see I did not need
another bottle.

Here is the back off my head. I usually put on a bag or shower cap over my hair but I didn't need too with this dye because the smell was just so nice.

The box was well put together it contained:
1 Bottle for the dye
1 Tube of  developer
1 Tube of colorant
1 Tube of conditioner
A instruction booklet
1 Pair of awesome Black gloves.

I was very impressed with the instruction sheet. It was good quality paper, colorful, and good information. Also, the gloves were not attached to the paper it was in its own Plastic baggie which to me was a plus. The gloves were of good quality, nice & soft, and felt nice and snug on my hands which made it easier when time to apply the hair dye. The box was to me like a normal box very appealing and attractive. I really did appreciate the time and thought Garnier put into the appearance of this product. I found the bottle to be super cute and one of the best bottles I've tried. Easy to get the product out I had no product spills no mess to clean up and amazingly no product fell on my shirt. The top of this bottle was a great idea.

Here is my After pic, same color the most noticeable difference is the softness, bounce, and smoothness. I've always had shiny hair so you can notice a slight difference but nothing too much which I will say I am a little disappointed as far as shine. I really was hoping to have a lot more shine to my hair ;(
Over all I would give this product a 9 out of 10
I do recommend this product although my tiny disappointment with the shine just because of how my hair feels. I think to me that's the most important aspects of a hair dye. My hair is in greater condition then before I dyed it and I am very satisfied with that.
This is the end of my review I truely hope this was somewhat helpful. Thank you to Garnier and BzzAgent who provided me with this free box of Olia to try out.
